Bookings
Scheduled walking tours can be booked online through the booking widget on each tour page. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been completed and you have received a booking confirmation by email.
Private tours, shore excursions and group or corporate tours can be requested through our booking request form or by contacting us. A booking request is not a confirmed booking. We will reply with availability and a quote, and your booking is confirmed once you accept the quote and we confirm it in writing.
Please make sure the details you give us are correct, including the number of adults, youths and children in your group, and tell us at the time of booking about any special requirements, such as mobility needs or bringing a stroller or wheelchair.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.
Unless a tour description says otherwise, prices do not include entrance tickets to sites and museums, food and drinks, transport to the meeting point, or personal expenses.
Online bookings are paid at the time of booking through our secure booking partner, Bókun. Payment terms for private and group tours are set out in your quote.
Where a tour description states that young children can join for free, please still book a place for them so we know the size of your group.
Cancellations by you
Online bookings: the cancellation policy shown at checkout and in your booking confirmation applies to your booking.
Private tours, shore excursions and group tours: the cancellation terms set out in your quote apply.
To cancel or change a booking, email us at [email protected] or call us on +356 9931 8808, quoting your booking details.
If you do not arrive at the meeting point at the scheduled start time, or arrive too late to join the tour, this is treated as a no-show and is not refunded.
Changes and cancellations by us
We may need to change or cancel a tour because of bad weather, safety concerns, unexpected closures of sites, too few participants on a scheduled tour, or other circumstances beyond our control.
If we cancel a tour, we will let you know as early as possible and offer you an alternative date or tour, or a full refund of the amount you paid for that tour.
Our guides may adjust the route or the order of stops on the day, for example because of crowds, events, road works or closures, while keeping to the overall character of the tour.
Some parts of a tour depend on the weather or third parties, such as ferry crossings or boat trips. These are clearly marked as "weather permitting" in the tour description.
On the day
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start time. Directions to each meeting point are given on the tour page and in your booking confirmation.
Our tours are on foot and may include uneven surfaces, steps and slopes. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather, and bring water.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them throughout the tour.
Please follow your guide's instructions and respect the sites, churches and places we visit, including any dress codes.
We may refuse to take, or ask to leave, anyone whose behaviour puts the safety or enjoyment of the group at risk. No refund is due in this case.
Shore excursions
We plan our shore excursions around your ship's schedule and aim to return you to the port in good time. Please give us your ship's arrival and all-aboard times when you book. You remain responsible for being back on board on time, and we cannot be held liable for missed departures caused by delays beyond our control.
Liability
You take part in our tours at your own risk. We recommend that you have travel insurance that covers your trip.
We are not liable for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for loss, injury or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, or by third-party services such as transport providers, venues and restaurants.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Photos
Our guides may take photos during a tour. If you would prefer not to appear in any photos that we use on our website or social media, please tell your guide.
Complaints
If you are not happy with any part of your tour, please tell your guide on the day so we can try to put it right, or email us at [email protected] within 14 days of your tour. We will do our best to resolve any issue fairly and quickly.
Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Maltese courts. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country you live in.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
