Our Walks
If you’re keen to discover Malta’s medieval majestic city, it’s time to visit Mdina! Dubbed the Silent City, Mdina was the capital city of Malta until the arrival of the Knights of St. John in 1530. The ancient citadel rising on a hilltop in the middle of the island is a historic gem that echoes the past at every corner. Characterised by medieval and baroque architecture, Mdina is Malta’s timeless treasure that exudes serenity and tranquillity.
Just outside of the walled city is Rabat. Our tour guide will lead the way to the old quarters of Rabat with a full explanation about Maltese vernacular architecture. A meticulously planned itinerary, this two-hour stroll encapsulates the most thorough exploration of Mdina and neighbouring Rabat.

Ever wondered about the origins of this magnificent city and what sets Valletta apart from the rest? Are you curious about how the Knights of Malta came to build this vibrant and elegant city and why the city also has some iconic British touches?
In just 2.5 hours, we will explore the city, unravelling the story behind Valletta's rise into the city it is today. As we undertake our sightseeing walking tour, our guide will explain the evolution of Valletta under the different rulers. Named after the valiant Grand Master Jean de Valette, who had just defeated the Ottoman Empire from invading the islands, the city of Valletta became the Knight's hub and went on to play a role during the French Occupation and later under the British rule.
It's time to explore the site and stroll along the streets to discover the iconic landmarks, hidden gems and the city's intriguing secrets.

As you walk through the city, with its grid-like structure of straight and parallel streets that befitted the military and defence objectives, you can gaze at the ornate palaces in which they resided. As you enter the magnificent edifice that is St. John's Co-Cathedral where they worshipped, you will immediately understand why it has been described as "a city of palaces built by gentlemen for gentlemen".
Join us for a 3-hour tour, and you will understand why our capital city has been identified as a noble city that equals, if not exceeds, any capital in Europe.

Every bite tells a story, pinpoints to the history, the tradition, the resources and the culture of its people. Malta’s rich cuisine is entrenched in the Mediterranean food staples merged with forays of Sicilian and Italian traditions that later become dosed with a good infusion of British ideas.
From the flaky pastry of the pastizzi to the household soft drink Kinnie, with its bitter orange flavour, the street food of Valletta city preserves the flavours of generations. This tour is a culinary journey through time, and every bite is like opening the history book. Indeed, street food is an important part of the gastronomic heritage of the island of Malta. Your tour guide will lead you along the way, making stops to taste local drinks, savouries and sweets. All this comes along with a good dose of stories and local anecdotes that are not found in guidebooks.
